LILIN has successfully upgraded the main military base in Milan, Italy, with a state-of-the-art, fully integrated CCTV surveillance system. This project demonstrates our ability to deliver reliable, cutting-edge solutions even in the most critical and demanding environments.
A significant challenge of this project was the deep integration of LILIN's AI License Plate Recognition (LPR) system with the facial recognition platform. Each visitor is required to undergo a stringent dual-verification process, accurately cross-referencing license plate and facial data against the internal database. Our LPR cameras transmit license plate information via HTTP POST to the base's access control system, enabling real-time, precise matching. This ensures that every entry and exit by visitors, military personnel, and support staff is accurately tracked and monitored, with all data integrated into the Navigator system for seamless oversight.
In addition to access control management, the base required a highly reliable intrusion detection system, which LILIN addressed by deploying cameras equipped with AI EDGEFLOW technology. These cameras are capable of accurately detecting personnel movement in sensitive areas, such as gates, walls, and restricted zones. Specifically, the Z7R8182X3-P cameras can identify unauthorized individuals and instantly transmit alerts to the control room via the network. Subsequently, notifications pop up in the VMS Navigator system, enabling security personnel to respond swiftly to potential threats.
